A new film about Nsser by Syrian film maker Anwar el-Quadry has been condemned by historians as inaccurate as it falsified well known and documented historic events. As many questioned the political motives behind the film the producers are facing a number of law suites from Nasser's family and relatives of other characters as well as historians.
